Fire & Water Estate
The project
An infinity-edge estate pool with fire bowls on the weir, floating stepping pads, a raised spa, a stone water wall and a lit landscape that runs to the tree line.
Photographed by Jimi Smith, this estate pool is an exercise in balance: fire and water on the same edge, stone and glass on the same wall. The infinity weir carries a row of fire bowls, floating pads cross the shallows to the raised spa, and a stone water wall with a fireplace anchors the covered terrace. Blue glass tile under the surface gives the water its colour at dusk, and the landscape lighting carries the composition out to the trees.
